Yummy! Good find! Best food I've had in Glenwood!
Review from my 11 year old, “fast service. Friendly staff. She took our food and water order and the same time not to mention the food was DELICIOUS”
Spent a weekend in Glenwood Springs and had breakfast here. They have a big menu and pastries that looked delicious!
This was one of the best meals, I've had. The staff was the best. Will always go back.
It was a cute place but meal wasn’t worth the price at all. Service was also not that great
Amazing food and atmosphere, staff were spectacular . Definitely stop here you won't be sorry
The food was very lackluster and had very little flavor ... expensive for what it was. Thought thee would be something special about this place but I was wrong. Go to McDonald's for breakfast ..much Better and much cheaper.
This place is wonderful. Can be a long wait but so worth it. I inhaled my Jaeger schnitzel. I couldn't get it in my mouth fast enough. Atmosphere and staff are great too. Highly recommended
Rock Hard biscuit and about $3 for one! food way too expensive for what you get. The coffee was good.
Very delicious. The schnitzel and eggs were fantastic. I had a waffle with bacon as well and it was amazing. It was very busy and we had to wait to eat, but it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this to any passersby looking for a good meal
We had breakfast here today on recommendations from Google Places. If I could give a negative star, I would. We probably should have turned around when we first entered the restaurant, which is poorly kept and dirty-looking. Since someone on the street also told us it was a great spot oh, we went on in. Our food was served in dirty dishes, was cold and one of our party found two hairs in her entree. We received a lukewarm apology and were charged full price for her meal. Better off skipping this place, folks!
Nice place for breakfast. The selection of food are good. Nothing special about the place. People are friendly and helpful. I like it!
There were 7 of us and everything was absolutely delicious. They have a gluten free selection and I was able to eat crepes for the first time in 10 years. Everyone was super friendly and even sang Happy Birthday to my 14 year old grandson. Excellent place to visit!
Overall good food and service, but the hash browns are made up ahead of time and piled up and then dished out without reheating them and thus making them awful. Prices are also ridiculous, but hey this is a resort town so everyone's prices are ridiculous and out to gouge the tourists.
Great food and nice unique place
Amazing food but horrible service. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing my server by walking through the door. Also a bit pricey for the quality of service.
Tasty eats for breakfast can be found here
We decided to eat here over Village Inn for breakfast and we are glad we did!I had the 2 egg breakfast with the bacon and hash browns well done. I also had 2 Crepes on the side. I saved a strip of bacon to eat with the Crepes, the bacon absolutely completes the Crepes with flavor and texture! I think bacon should just come with Crepes. My fiancé had the Veggie Omelet subbed egg whites and added sausage. The Omelette was the size of the plate, it was huge. It was very tasty.Overall we are glad we chose to eat here over the other normal, boring, heavily commercialized options in town. Glenwood has many non chain restaurants in town and it’s fun and quite tasty trying them out!
Ate at Rosi's. Ordered granola with milk. It came with fruit. What I didn't know until afterwards was there is an up charge to add fruit. I never asked for fruit, the waitress or cook just decided I should have it so they could charge more. Husband ordered steak and eggs. Waitress brought wrong toast to him (went to table next to us), then he was half done with his meal before the correct order came out. Definitely not worth the $35 it cost for these 2 meals and 1 coffee. My suggestion - skip eating in Glenwood Springs, especially at Rosi's.
Really great service that was quick. The Belgian Waffle is fantastic. Highly recommend Rosi’s for breakfast!
We really enjoyed the breakfast food and the Bavarian decorations. Service was great and so was the chocolate cream filled eclair. An after thought on the way out.
A terrific little place, feels like home. Food is awesome and staff is always pleasant.
Simple but authentic dishes. Recommend the Gypsy Platter for breakfast.
Yep, good old school food and authentic Hungarian much like my Aunt Mary cooked. This Hungarian gal enjoyed the Goulash and cucumber salad. I'll be back!
I had the Bavarian ghoulish, my wife had the weinerschnitzel. Food was GREAT! Very friendly service. I nice little spot for an out of the ordinary option.
This charming little diner also has delicious food! We went for Sunday brunch and one of the employees was playing a horn in the lobby, going along with the theme of the Bavarian decor. We tried their Avocado Skillet special, but the regular menu also looked wonderful. The pastries are also divine. We saw them in the display case and went back the next day to try some. Don't miss this place while you're in town.
Sweet little mom & pop breakfast shop. Had the Alaska benedict and pastry - both were great!
Always our go to breakfast place in Glenwood. The schnitzel is always great and something to get. The Benedict are also good. They have great pastries as well
I ordered a vegetarian skillet, found pieces of ham in it. Another person at our table also ordered something vegetarian, the Chile rellenos, and also found ham in it, and it wasn't like it just fell off someone's plate, it was cooked in deep with other ingredients. Server apologized and said they use the same cook surface for all cooking and they just didn't clean it very well. I did get a replacement and she said she asked the cook to clean really well first. Apparently this happens all the time. Pancake arrived cold. I usually expect the only ingredients in my food to be what shows on the menu, not everything that may have been cooked that day. If you don't want ham I recommend not going to Rosi's. $50 + tip for 3 breakfasts with nothing extra. I've lived in the area for 20 years and quality has gone downhill and prices have gone up.
Simple and good. Great service. I didn't try the pastry but they looked awesome.
Great food, great service. Very accommodating for my odd diet (gluten, dairy and egg free). The kids loved the crepes.
Bad food bad service. I was expecting German breakfast and German servers. Far from reality
This food is amazing. Get every pastry with cream. All the food is amazing !!!!!The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming! The environment and atmosphere is perfect.
Great little place to grab breakfast. Very friendly staff
Schnitzel, eggs and pancakes (not shown) is a good way to get fueled up for a full day of hiking. The schnitzel was a very large portion I had to take half of it to go. The pancake was a hearty portion as well. Both were excellent. I had breakfast here multiple days while visiting Glenwood Springs. The only trouble I had was they only have apricot jelly...seems to be a staple for the area...I don't care for apricots so another choice would have been nice. Overall, the best breakfast I had.
The best breakfast in town. Schnitzel is my last meal.
Really good breakfast and bakery. Not the most attentive service. If you have the time its worth it.
First time eating here and the food and service was excellent.
Rosie's is great. Love the schnitzel and atmosphere. Refreshing to have good service in glenwood springs.
Great food. Homey atmosphere
The breakfast food here is pretty good-their sausage is the best thing on the menu, make sure whatever you order includes it somehow. The gypsy skillet is good, as are the benedicts. The crepes leave a little to be desired. I gave 3 stars just due to service. The wait staff dont have a great attention to detail and can be slow and forgetful. For that reason, we don't eat here often.
Food was amazing. Small and homey. Staff was very kind and attentive. There was nothing I didn’t enjoy. We come to Glenwood often and will be making this place our “go to” restaurant
Good food. Would eat there again
Great breakfast . Probably best in town besides my house lol
Delicious bratwurst and cozy setting! Definitely coming back!
Wonderful breakfast experience. Some very non-American dishes that were very good. Friendly staff, yummy dessert. Very happy
Cheap food, expensive price. I know I come from boulder area, and there’s inflation here, but you can get a comparable meal at Lucille’s that’s 10X the quality for far less.
Jaegerschnitzel was ok. Spaetle was gross. No flavor, over boiled, and not drained fully-sitting in a puddle of water on the plate. Pastries way over priced when they were just "meh" in flavor and day old. I wouldn't go again.
I was in Glenwood springs July of 18. This breakfast house was right next door to my hotel. Literally 150 ft away, so naturally we went there about every day for breakfast. The owner was great! Every day we went in he would remember us and chat us up about our vacation and even walked in one day to him playing this 15 ft Swiss horn looking thing that hangs up on the wall. Apparently they asked if he knew how to play it so they got a free show lol. Atmosphere was great there. The food though...was even better! They have i think 11 variations of eggs Benedict which I love so i was in heaven. My favorite by far was the Neptune Benedict which had crab meat. It was amazing! Every day I tried a different version but always got 1 Neptune! A must stop for breakfast if I ever return!
